In the original article, XPS results shown in Figure 4 contain some errors resulting from an issue with instrument used to record data. The data were remeasured and corrected are replacement presented below. Several affected sentences (page 440, left column, second paragraph) reporting require correction have been reproduced below text indicated bold. … As 4a, spectrum of In2S3/TiO2 3d region shows two peaks at 452.2 444.6 eV corresponding 3d3/2 3d5/2, respectively. 4b exhibits high-resolution Ti 2p. Peaks 2p3/2 2p1/2 clearly observed 458.9 464.6 eV, respectively, which also confirm that valence states is tetravalent. O 1s (Figure 4c) located 531.6 530.0 ascribed surface-adsorbed oxygen TiO2 lattice oxygen. According 4d, S 162.2 161.0 respectively… (a–d) spectra 3d, 2p, 2p 5 % In2S3/TiO2. authors these changes do not affect overall conclusions manuscript. apologize for any inconvenience caused.
